The Set Changeover:
2 Hours in 2 Minutes
The Hanna Theatre stage is transformed from
Twelfth Night
to
The Mystery of Edwin Drood
.
Witness the transformation of Great Lakes Theater Festival's Hanna Theatre stage as the company's technical staff changes its set from "Twelfth Night" over to "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". Both plays are being performed in alternating succession as part of the Festival's 2009 Fall Repertory at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare in Cleveland, Ohio through November 1, 2009. The footage, which has been time-lapsed into two minutes, took over 2 hours to shoot. The light show that appears in the middle of the video is the dimmer and lighting instrument check that occurs during each changeover to ensure that all of the lighting instruments are operational. The Festival extends special thanks to the Hanna's IATSE crew led by Shaun Milligan (with Thomas Boddy, Chris Guy and Robert Prah) as well as GLTF's esteemed technical staff (including Mark Cytron, Josh Frachiseur, William Langenhop, Terry Martin, Tammy Taylor and many others) for their help in transforming the stage.
