  Women’s Committee
From its inception in 1961, the Women’s Committee has been actively involved in providing hospitality for the actors/production staff, organizing benefits and fundraisers, assisting the Administrative office and promoting GLTF throughout the community.

Women’s Committee members receive a number of benefits, including:

  “behind-the-scenes” opportunities
personal invitations to luncheons and special events
  a membership directory
discounts to GLTF productions and events

You are invited to join the Women’s Committee of GLTF – a very special group of dedicated individuals. As a member you will have the satisfaction of helping sustain Northern Ohio’s finest classic theater.

If you would like to become a member or would like more information, call Joanne Hulec at (216) 252-8717. We welcome your assistance in any of the following areas: meeting and greeting actors, assembling welcome packets, providing airport transportation, helping with opening night appreciation, sewing costumes, planning benefits and fundraisers, helping with mailings and publicity, and serving as a greeter at GLTF performances.

Shakespeare Society
The Shakespeare Society, the leadership society for individual annual giving, recognizes those donors who contribute $1,000 or more to the Festival each season. Society members are invited to "intimate" backstage events with actors, directors, designers and other theater artists. By participating in these special “cocktails and conversation” evenings, attending rehearsals and celebrating opening nights, Society members become part of the inner circle of supporters who join together to create the magic. For more specific information on giving levels and benefits, see our “Join the Shakespeare Society” page.
