I support GLTF by buying tickets, why should I also donate?
Only 50% of GLTF’s total budget comes from ticket sales – individuals, corporations, foundations and state government support make up the remaining amount. It is only through the support of donors that GLTF can continue to bridge the gap between ticket sales and operating costs.

Why doesn’t GLTF just cover costs with ticket sales?
Without donations, the average GLTF ticket would cost nearly $75 and force many patrons to abandon going to the theater. Other outreach and educational programs such as the School Residency Program, which allows 20,000 kids to make connections between classic theater and their own experiences, would have to be cut back or even eliminated.

What exactly will my gift be used for?
Your gift to GLTF will be used for a variety of purposes that will allow us to bring quality presentations of classic theater to our community.

Why should my business donate?
GLTF stimulates more than $4 million worth of economic activity in Northern Ohio each season. Patrons and visitors attending the shows help the local economy by boosting business in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and more. Help support GLTF by becoming a Corporate Member today!

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Certainly. GLTF has been classified as a 501(c) (3) organization with not-for-profit status. You will receive an acknowledgement letter that can serve as your receipt and be used for tax purposes once GLTF has processed your gift.
