David Hansen (he/him) is a twenty-year veteran of the Great Lakes Theater School Residency Program.
David has performed in GLT outreach tours, including Chekhov’s On The Harmful Effects of Tobacco and as Arthur Miller in Seeing Red. David also wrote and performed in the outreach touring plays Sherlock Holmes Meets the Bully of Baker Street, On The Dark Side of Twilight, the Agatha Christie adaptations The Mysterious Affair at Styles and The Secret Adversary, and a prequel to Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing entitled Double Heart (The Courtship of Beatrice and Benedick).
David has performed his award-winning solo performance on stillbirth, I Hate This (a play without the baby) in Cleveland, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York City and on a tour of Great Britain. His published plays can be found at Pioneer Drama Service, Playscripts Inc., YouthPLAYS and on Amazon. David is a member of the Dramatists' Guild of America. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from Cleveland State University and a BFA in Theatre Arts from Ohio University. http://davidhansen.org
